Industrial PU Roller Application & Selection

1. Printing Industry: Printing presses have extremely high precision requirements for rollers. The wear resistance and antistatic properties of PU rollers can prevent problems such as ink sticking and paper wrinkling. For example, the ink distribution rollers of offset printing presses need to be in contact with ink for a long time, and the solvent resistance of PU material can extend their service life; the impression rollers of gravure printing presses require high hardness support, and the customized hardness of PU rollers can accurately match the printing pressure.

2. Textile Industry: From spinning to weaving, PU rollers are used throughout the entire process. Guide rollers need to be soft and wear-resistant to reduce friction damage to the fabric; take-up rollers need to be highly elastic to prevent the fabric from slipping. In addition, the water resistance of PU rollers makes them less prone to mold in humid environments, ensuring the quality and safety of textiles.

3. Metallurgical Industry: High temperature and heavy load are typical operating conditions for metallurgical equipment, making the heat resistance and impact resistance of PU rollers crucial. For example, the straightening rolls of a continuous casting machine need to withstand the heat of steel billets above 1000℃, and specially formulated PU rollers can withstand high temperatures for a short time without softening; the conveyor rolls of a rolling mill need high hardness support to avoid deformation due to long-term pressure.
